Hey, I’m in Newsweek

Or is that on Newsweek.com? The in/on thing gets so confusing when you go electronic.
I did an interview with Brian Braiker of Newsweek.com yesterday regarding my piece on Wikileaks and the Bank Julius Baer. He apparently saw it thanks to the many slashdotters who raised my Cringely post high enough for the world to see (thank you /.) while, of course, picking nits with every third comma. But hey, every writer wants to be read first and adored second.
Braiker did a fine job capturing what I told him — really, better than most other print journos I’ve encountered when I’ve been on the other side of the notebook. I come off looking like I know what I’m talking about. Who’d have thunk? (As my lovely wife says, “you’re now a voice of authority from your little porch office in North Carolina”). Voice of Authority. I like it.
One thing Brian didn’t do is link here (or if he did, I can’t find it). But if you’ve come here because you somehow found my story on WikiLeaks (or the Newsweek interview), welcome. And do come back. I post here every day and sometimes more. It’s a regular snarkfest.
